A compass for the thing you need next.
Pick what you are looking for. The needle points at the nearest one, and turns as you walk.
What it can point at
- Home
- Coffee that is open now
- Drinking water
- Public toilets
- The next tram
- Fruit trees
Why a needle and not a map
A map asks you to read it. A needle only asks you to walk. You get a direction and a distance, and you look up at the street instead of down at the screen.
Your location
To find the nearest thing, your browser sends your position with each search. We use it for that answer and nothing else: it is not stored and not logged. What you have chosen to look for stays in this browser. The details are in the privacy policy.
Who makes it
Needlestone is made by Lotlsoft, a sole-trader software shop in Melbourne. Questions and problems go to the support page.
