The needle does not move
Needlestone needs your location. If you said no when your browser asked, allow location for this site in your browser settings and reload.
On a phone, the needle also needs the compass sensor. Some browsers only allow it after you tap the screen once.
The needle points the wrong way
Phone compasses drift near metal and inside buildings. Step outside, or move the phone in a figure eight to recalibrate it.
